Dread....
Ok. So I know I have to take before pics b/c its the only REAL indication (in my opinion) of weight loss. I like inches too but my weight is not a good indicator b/c I have a high muscle mass. I cant find my stupid measuring tape right now so I'll have to go in later and add my inches.
So here we go.. my debut in my swimsuit I PLAN to wear this summer.
It occurs to me that if they had not captured how fat Ali was in the beginning of biggest loser using a photo then we would not have the jaw dropping reaction to how she looks now. Beginning points are important they inspire and drive. So here we goo...
Start front:
Problem areas: obviously my tummy is the thickest part of me. Have some fat around the thighs and the top "saddle bags" that need to be dispensed with. Arms.
Promising areas: Can see the slightest beginnings of tone on stomach. Quads and calves look great. Neck looks long and toned. Can see top of scapula beginning to develop. It's not as bad as I thought it would be.
Problem Areas: triceps, need to shed a few fat layers on the upper back and it will be nicely toned, butt lifted, wide across the back of waist.
Promising areas: Starting to see some definition of spine, hammies and calves look DE-VINE! Not a whole lot of fat on that normal bra line area.
Problem areas: Thick midsection. Slight double chin. Arms lack definition. Lower abs need some work.
Promising areas: Can begin to see some muscles developing around the sides of my waist (blanking on the name of those things), front arm looks strong, legs overall look lean. Love those muscles popping out around the knee.
So I've got a place to start. If I would have taken these pictures even 3 months ago when I began working with a trainer I'd have been horrified, but I see some potential.
Here are my official start stats:
Start weight 180.8
Body fat Comp: 24.64% 45.09lbs fat 137.91lbs lean
Measurements: coming...
